The Birth of a Classic

The Good Trouble Football Classic is a college football game played in Augusta, Georgia by two HBCU Universities, Savannah State Tigers and Fort Valley State Wildcats!  The Two Universities are members of the (SIAC) Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference!  The game was established in 2024 and will come to fruition October 18th, 2025.  The game is managed by The Heritage Football Classic Network. 

Our Mission

The mission of The Good Trouble Football Classic at Augusta is a three-fold mission: 1) To showcase black college football at the highest level. 2) To provide a family friendly environment, which can be enjoyed by everyone from grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, sister, brother to the next generation of HBCU graduates. 3) To provide monetary gifts and scholarships to help deserving students further their education and become productive citizens.
